フォトグラファーとしても活動。全国販売の旅行本のカバー写真撮影の他、JR東日本「行くぜ、東北。」キャンペーンの広告写真撮影など。現在は活動停止中。
趣味は旅行と写真と音楽とお酒。特に近年は美食とワインに傾倒しており、細々と食に関する文章の執筆も行っている。
